Done Deals: Oxford swoop for Donley, Wagner buys Wagner, Bradford sign Sibley & Crawley add a third – plus LouOrns on Derby's new man...
Every day from Tuesday to Saturday, NTT20.COM writes-up and rates every single signing in the Championship, League One, and League Two.
Done Deals provides analysis and ratings for every signing in the EFL. The bulletin will be published Tuesday-Saturday mornings throughout the January Transfer Window. Contributors include: Ali Maxwell, George Elek, Sam Parry, Huw Davies, Riley Roberts, Matt Watts, Craig Bradley, Gab Sutton and Luke “LouOrns” McKenzie.
Huw Davies: Welcome to Done Deals. In case you missed yesterday’s bulletin, here’s a reminder of what we’re doing differently this time. Don’t worry – we’ve kept the player insight, transfer analysis and, on my insistence, the occasional laboured pun.
We’ll still cover every single EFL signing in January. But the following has changed:
The Headliner — Gab Sutton and Luke McKenzie join us to write up the day’s one bit of business that particularly caught their eye.
Impact Ratings — Instant impact is the watchword for so many January signings, and that’s what we’ll be measuring in our traffic light ratings system.
Publication days — Instead of Monday-Friday, these bulletins will run Tuesday-Saturday (two free, three paid; this one’s free).
And now, Luke ‘LouOrns’ McKenzie on the new Dane at Derby…
🟠 Oscar Fraulo (CM) - [Borussia Monchengladbach - Derby] - Undisclosed
When coming through the ranks as a hot prospect at FC Midtjylland, Fraulo was a diminutive holding midfielder with nice technical qualities. However, since his move to Germany and a two-year Eredivisie loan spell with FC Utrecht, he has grown into his body and become more of a box-to-box player, whose ball-carrying ability and quick touches in tight areas to evade pressure have become assets of his game. Derby have arguably lacked this kind of player since Harrison Armstrong’s 2024/25 loan ended.
