⭐ A superlative season
Some of the brightest stars in the EFL seem to appear on the horizon out of nowhere. Others have already risen. That’s the case with Harrison Burrows.
He not only played a role in Peterborough’s last promotion from League One and their 2021/22 campaign in the Championship but also two successive play-off tilts and an EFL Trophy win. He has only a year remaining on his contract, and Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony will be fending off the sharks following the left-back’s latest superlative season.
It will take some down payment for a Championship club to prise Burrows from his hometown club – he borders on peerless when set against other attacking full-backs in League One. In the long run, a move to the leagues above would be no surprise for a player whose ceiling is certainly a lot higher than the third tier.

Pizza charts informed by match data. Each chart rates a chosen player from 0-99 across different metrics (e.g. Dribbles) according to their “percentile rank”. A 75 score shows a player outperforming 75% of other players in the dataset. Each dataset is position-specific. Negative metrics are reversed. [Credit: Riley Roberts.]
