Sam Parry: Transfer Deadline Day is fast approaching, and previously we’ve live-blogged from NTT20 HQ in London, writing up every signing as it happens. This time around, we’re taking a different approach, because – as is typical at this time of year in the EFL – we’re down to… well, not quite the bare bones, but significantly fewer bones. So, something different this way comes.

Here’s how we’ll be covering the final few days of the 2025 January Transfer Window:

• Friday 31st — Ali and George are answering your questions on all matters January in the first ever Transfer Clinic.

• Monday 3rd, AM — We’ll bring you the final Done Deals bulletin covering all of the weekend’s movers…

• Monday 3rd, Evening — … and a full list of EVERY EFL SIGNING at midnight.

• Tuesday 4th — The NTT20.COM team will go out with a bang by picking The Top 20 Transfers of Deadline Day – the best EFL recap you’ll find anywhere.

• Friday 7th — We’ll be digging into the data and analysing the weird and wonderful Transfer Window Trends.

• Oh… and the week after — The Dear Ali and George… podcast will return with the first Q&A episode of the New Year.

These 200-odd signings have stretched our knowledge, our research skills and, at times, our credulity. But as Bovver in the dreadful hooligan epic Green Street said, “It’s what we fa*kin’ live for.”

The key difference – and I cannot emphasise this enough – is that the only things we’ll hit are our laptop keys, the only violence we espouse is an intemperate addiction to EFL football, and the only thing we’ll punch is the air at midnight on Monday when the window closes on another job well done.
