Gonçalo Franco (Moreirense to Swansea City)

Luke Williams has always been an incredibly highly-regarded coach.

From being the front-line operator on the grass at Mark Cooper’s Swindon to guiding Russell Martin at MK Dons and Swansea, then thriving at Notts County in the National League and League Two, Williams has established a glowing, growing reputation.

Now, though, he has a chance to work with a different calibre of player in Gonçalo Franco, a 23-year-old midfielder who got into Portugal’s Under-20s squad in 2019.
