Not The Top Table (9 December 2025)
Every Tuesday NTT20.COM brings you updated xG form tables for the Championship, League One and League Two.
With most of League One and League Two tied up in the FA Cup over the weekend, the biggest movement comes from the Championship—so that’s where today’s top lines land.
Right now, everything seems to be breaking Sheffield United’s way. They lead the five-game form table with a massive 78.20% xG ratio, sit third over the last ten, and rank fifth overall—despite occupying 18th in the actual standings.
Ipswich are the other major climbers: second in the five-game table, top over the last ten, and second in the running totals.
Watch out for Stoke’s alarming five-game and ten-game numbers — it isn’t only a 4-0 loss to Blades bringing them down, chance creation has tanked.
At the other end, Charlton are the only Championship side to post an xG ratio below 25% across their last five matches.
And per the running totals, the games of four Championship teams — Hull, Southampton, Coventry and Norwich — are averaging a total of 3+ expected goals per match.
