Karamoko Dembélé — QPR, loan

Karamoko Dembélé is a rare breed; a viral wonderkid who, it turns out, is actually really quite good.
We’ve known his name for so long that it’s surprising, in a way, that he’s still just 21 years old. Last season, when on loan at Blackpool, he showed that the sky remains the limit.
Given his diminutive frame, and standing at just 5ft6, you’d be forgiven for assuming that Dembélé is an out-and-out winger. He is comfortable playing as a left-footed inside forward off the right-hand side, but QPR look to have signed him to play predominantly as a ball-carrying 10 which is where he can impact games best. This is due to his exceptional creative passing ability, which means he is both the perfect player to pick locks in setting wide players free in behind, but also given licence to drift into wide areas to overload that part of the pitch and create opportunities for the team.
