I simply cannot picture either Ant and Dec broadcasting on their own. I’m convinced it’s never happened. What do they do when one is unwell? How did Simon and Garfunkel handle it? Bill and Ben?

I feel bereft. I feel half-empty. I’ve got no-one to finish my……….. sandwiches sentences.
