Weekend Notes: Ainsworth, Pearson, Hurst sacked, Wednesday win!
Full moon. Halloween. Things got spooky this weekend in the EFL... Tricks. Treats. Goals. Sackings.

Welcome to Weekend Notes.
The clocks have gone back. And with it, the league tables have synchronised into a constellation of pre-season predictability as the summer favourites (bookies or our own) align together at the top.
Not only that, the annual EFL festival of ‘Sackoween’ is in full-swing. There are currently TEN vacancies across the three leagues. Seven managers gone in the last fortnight. Frankly, it’s hard to keep up.
Our team is working hard to cover these leagues with as much detail and passion as we can. Please, if you can, think about upgrading from free to paid. We’ve got so much to offer those who either love the EFL, or fancy falling in love with it.
Let’s get into a bonkers weekend, of sackings, protests, quality goals and late winners.
Nine in a row for Leicester, and clearly not bored
