If it looks like the first Friday of the football season, and it tastes like the first Friday of the football season, then guess what…

Aaaah! It’s exciting. It’s intriguing. It’s here. And we’re here - George and Ali - with the first episode of The Six Fix.

Some of you may have tuned in last season. But for the rest of you, this a podcast where we scrutinise the weekend slate and pick out six fixtures that get our juices, not just flowing, but sometimes overflowing. Two from the Championship. Two from League One. Two from League Two. And for each of them, a score prediction.

Now, this is a podcast for paid subscribers. If you’re not a paid subscriber and you do want to listen, you’ll need to sign-up here.

We’ve told ourselves about sharp-toothed sharks, dark horses and the waters in which some clubs might flounder. And now we’re inviting you to come swim with us—the water is lovely, dive in.
