A message from George, our Top 10 of 2025, and what's in store in January...
NTT20 turns 10 in 2026!
That feels faintly ridiculous when I stop to think about it. But we don’t stop for long.
January is one of our busiest months of the season, and once again our full focus turns to delivering the most detailed and comprehensive coverage of the EFL January Transfer Window. That begins tomorrow with the return of Done Deals. And strengthening our backline this window are Luke ‘LouOrns’ McKenzie and Gab Sutton, who join the team to track every move as it happens.
Alongside the daily transfer updates, we’ll be going behind the scenes with an inside look at life as a Director of Football during the winter window — the pressures, the planning, and the fine margins that define January.
After some tweaking and tinkering, our xG form tables will also return, now with a dedicated page embedded directly into the site, making it easier than ever to track underlying performance across the leagues.
And, of course, the football never stops. We’ll continue to cover all of the weekend and midweek action in Weekend Notes and Under The Lights, bringing context, analysis and perspective to every round of fixtures.
But before all that…
Whether you’re a new subscriber or you’ve been on this ride since the very start, we thought it would be nice to share our ten most-read pieces of the year just gone.
That’s all for now. Happy new year and go well in 2026!
