I listen to all the podcasts but I will admit that I swerved the Fri one! This change for me is a good one and respect for having the bottle to change mid Season. I have no problem with digression or banter in a podcast. Otherwise in my view they become robotic in content, more of the same and without opinions or discussion points, What’s the point of them? Look forward how this new inclusion goes. Well done!
Enjoyed this, particularly the Christmas dinner chat! I'm of the Ali school of thought that Christmas food is bland, uninspiring and capitalist nonsense. However! I think his comparison of James Milner as first draft as 'Turkey' is unfair on James.
I think he's much closer to chicken - he's got the versatility to be roasted, marinaded, seasoned, breaded, battered, winged, butterflyed! He can do it all and invariably makes his teammates stronger. I think Gareth Barry or Jodran Henderson resemble Turkey closer. Keep it up fellas, merry Christmas!!
